Good for storing, not so good to try and run with

The bag is excellent to store your needed running gear on race day. But, I tried to run with the pack to a way point, it rubs in many places as can not be stabilized.

Douglas, Thanks for your valued feedback. You're absolutely correct. The KODIAK was designed as a simplified and organized travel workhorse. While it can be worn as a pack, it was never deigned specifically as a duffle/pack to run with. The GRIZZLY pack is the bag for that job, and was designed for all the above: Tons of organized storage and stabilization when running. Having said that, we're glad to know it worked well for it's intended purpose. Cheers, and best of running!

Love my customized Kodiak

The bag is very well made with a design for organization plus I love that it can be a back pack. I can’t wait to use for my next ultra adventure or FKT attempt!

Awesome Bag for Travel!

The KODIAK has become my go-to bag for traveling, among other various uses.
I love how the (detachable) separator inside allows for 4 square sections (I use 2 for clothes, 1 for personals & 1 for dirty laundry). In addition, the 4 inside pockets are very spacious, and the 4 outside pockets are great for adding or removing items without having to open the bag. My favorite part is that I can either carry it like a duffel or wear it on my back.

Amazing bag from a great crew!

This bag has a ton of space capable of customizing the larger compartments. Durable and resistant. The Victory crew is friendly and truly cares about the quality of the product and relationships with customers. I will be ordering another kit when races open back up!

So close to perfect

So this bag is amazing with one single design flaw. The insulated water bottle pouches don’t fit a single water bottle I own from Nalgene bottles to camelback bottles nothing fits in them. Why include them if they don’t fit anything. The organization is AMAZING and I may even buy the bigger bag for future races for crewing duties. I can’t recommend this bag enough but man do I not understand the point of the bottle holders.

Thanks for your great feedback. I'm not sure if you received my email reply regarding your question about the water bottle holders. They fit many different styles of 16oz bottles. The reason for restricting them to that size is limited to the need for keeping the bag's dimensions in line with what most 100 mile races require. I'll send you a few 16oz bottles to use in the holders! All is not lost. Believe me, they do exist. Cheers!

Bear = Happy Ultra Runner

Bear was just what I’ve needed for self-supported virtual and crewed in-person ultras! Size and organization have been perfect for preparing for different needs and layouts (hotter and dry/rainy, colder and rainy) for both gear and fuel. Pretty indestructible, too (phew!). Sooooo glad I finally brought a Bear home :)

Everything Bag

A friend of mine is a jogger/runner, and he showed me this amazing bag which he uses to organize his marathons with water, salt tablets, energy bars etc. I'm not a very sporty person - if I jogged a quarter of a mile I would probably have a heart attack. However, in the bag there are many convenient compartments and sleeves and pockets to organize just about anything. So I bought one for my art supplies. There is a sleeve for my paint brushes, a large space for my batik and wood dyes, a zip compartment for my oil and acrylic paints and the list goes on.... Parents could even use it to organize baby supplies or computer freaks can organize their hardware and cables. The bag is truly a "Victory" for me.

An Organizational Miracle

Just received my Bear III in the mail the other day. Immediately started organizing all of my running supplies into the bag for a future race in October. Not only did it fit everything I need, I was able to add more things to the see-thru pockets so that I will always be prepared. (Also made my wife happy since I no longer have running gear strewn throughout the house.) Can't say enough about the accessibility to everything stored inside. Can't wait to show it off!!

Fantastic Pack

This is by far the best and most organized pack around, and I did look around. The adjustable shelf unit inside is so helpful for making the perfect fit for what you're putting in. The padded laptop pocket is key, the outer pockets are easy to get in while wearing the pack. It's extremely comfortable, even if it's packed to the gills. And if you have to run with it, it doesn't bounce. It's a great design.

The Perfect Drop Bag

When I first got the Bear II I thought it would be a little small for a drop bag at an aid station with multiple passes. But as I packed everything in it, the bag turned out to be the perfect fit. The multiple pockets kept everything organized and the labels on the pockets helped out a ton as my mind became foggy in the late miles. Such a high quality bag will last for years.

Worked well to keep things organized for my first hundo

I used this drop bag at miles 48 and 62 in my first hundred mile race. It was big enough to fit my cold weather gear and lots of little things that I might need. It also came fast, despite getting a customized patch.
